Mankind has looked to the skies in wonder since the beginning of time. Indeed, the miracle of flight has captured the imagination of every generation.

Hendro Soetrisno's driving passion is to capture the majesty of birds in flight. He has worked to photograph not just birds that are endangered, and birds of prey, but also many different types of majestic fowl. Every time he watches them take flight all his senses are aroused. Their miraculous flight creates scenes that get stuck in his mind. These scenes become his dreams.

With his camera and computer he has worked to bring those dreams to reality through his images.

FLIGHT is his most personal selection of fine art images he has ever created. These images are his dreams brought to life. This collection is inspired by children’s books, animated movies, Broadway shows, and Cirque du Soleil.

Even though we now have modern technology that lets us jet around the world. We still need to take time to watch the sky and wonder. The only limit is our imagination.
