Hendro Soetrisno - Bringing Imagination to Life

Hendro Soetrisno is a fine art photographer and digital artist whose work is built on a single conviction: that every element in a frame must earn its place.

Over nearly three decades, he developed a visual language rooted in deliberate construction. Background, light, atmosphere, midground, subject - each layer completes before the next is added. Nothing in his work is accidental. Horizon placement, the angle of a head, the geometry of a pose, the direction of light: these are decisions, not discoveries. The result is an image that reads immediately, without explanation.

His career spans landscape, portrait, wedding, commercial, and fine art photography, with a specialty in fine art wildlife. He holds Master of Photography degrees from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Master Photographers International (MPI), and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI). He has earned multiple Photographer of the Year titles and more than 150 international awards from PPA, MPI, WPPI, and Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP). He represented the United States at the World Photographic Cup, earning both a gold medal and Best of Nations.

His work has been exhibited across six continents, including Times Square, New York, and published internationally. It exists in permanent collections, among them the Danish Royal Library in Copenhagen.

In 2022, he extended his practice into the NFT space, launching the VIVID series and founding Artists United, the first NFT photography collective backed by a collector-curated satisfaction guarantee. Both sold out.
