My name is Hendro Soetrisno, and I am an artist who combines fine artistry with digital expertise to bring my creative visions to life. While photography is the foundation of my work, I am equally skilled as a graphic designer and digital artist, blending each discipline with careful craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Throughout my career, I’ve earned several prestigious titles, including Master of Photography from Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Master Photographer in Fine Art - Accredited in Fine Art Nature from Master Photographers International (MPI), and Master of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI). Representing the United States in the World Photographic Cup, I earned both a gold medal and the Best of Nations award.
With over 150 awards from organizations such as PPA, WPPI, MPI, and the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP), along with multiple Photographer of the Year titles, my work reflects the dedication and passion I bring to every project.
Best known for my fine art animal photography, I am also highly proficient in studio lighting techniques. Experienced with Profoto, Canon, and Phase One equipment, I create images that transport viewers to new realms where imagination and reality intersect.
My work has been exhibited on every continent (except Antarctica and the Arctic), including prominent locations such as Times Square, New York, and has been published in various prestigious outlets, including a collection at the Danish Royal Library in Copenhagen.
As a visual storyteller and fine artist, I aim to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. Every image is meticulously handcrafted - without the use of automatic processes - allowing me to infuse each piece with unique artistry and emotion. I often draw inspiration from children’s books and animations, exploring the power of colors and shapes to convey emotions and tell stories.
Whether through photography, graphic design, or digital art, my goal is to spark curiosity and ignite the imagination, inviting viewers to embark on their own interpretive journey. My creative process is rooted in precision and craftsmanship, from concept to final image, ensuring each piece reflects my vision.
At the core of my art is the desire to inspire wonder and invite others to see the beauty that exists all around us - no matter the medium.
Professional Journey from Traditional Photography to NFTs
My passion for photography began with a simple medium format film camera and has since expanded to various genres, including automotive, products, portraits, beauty, weddings, architecture, real estate, lifestyle, food, cityscape, landscapes, nature, and wildlife. This diverse experience led me to specialize in fine art photography, where I’ve continually pushed creative boundaries.
Venturing into NFTs, I launched my first series, “VIVID,” in January 2022, which received an overwhelming response and sold out quickly. Building on this success, I founded Artists United, the first NFT photography collective curated by a reputable collector with a satisfaction/buy-back guarantee. This innovative collective, which sold out three days before its official release, unites 30 photographers from around the world. It exemplifies my leadership and managerial skills by bringing together a diverse group representing various languages, races, ages, abilities, and life experiences, across specialties such as landscape, travel, portrait, drone, adventure, fine art, wildlife, and astrophotography.
These ventures highlight my commitment to innovation and effective management, bridging traditional and digital art forms as I continue to explore and lead in new creative frontiers.
